This may affect those of you travelling to Pierrefonds via London early next week. :-(
There are planned strikes affecting the London Underground from 17:00 on Monday 6 September through to 21:00 on Tuesday 7 September.
If it does affect you, though, keep the faith - these strikes are often called off beforehand, if the parties involved can make progress during scheduled talks. {fingers crossed}
Hopefully the cast and relevant crew will all be travelling on Sunday evening or Monday during the day (depending on filming schedules),* or have other arrangements, so that should be OK. (Luckily, we're travelling on the Monday morning, so we'll be OK. I'm fretting a bit for other friends, though...)
There shouldn't be any problems with getting to the BFI event on 5 September, though it's always worth checking for planned engineering works on the weekend.

Thanks to Mr L for the heads-up! :-)
* Edited to clarify. I don't know when our cast and crew will be travelling to Pierrefonds (or back to Pierrefonds after the BFI event). But whether they cut the first week of filming or not, then I think it's safe to assume they'll be travelling before the strike takes effect. Sorry, that's the only point I was trying to make there. Unlike the whole volcanic ash thing, this shouldn't have an effect on filming schedules. {touch wood}
