I've identified where the backgound is when Gwen hides in the lake (21.42 of the episode) to escape from Helios's soldiers who are chasing her
It was filmed at Speech House Lake. Helios's soldiers run along its far bank - it's the one that I don't think we have access to because it's a type of reserve. When Merlin watched the Sidhe - it's the bank on the right. On our last visit to the lake (March 2011) we took photos of the filming that was happening - because of that, I do not have a photo from the exact angle The Hunters Heart was filmed from, but they're not too bad.
This is screencap from about 21.42 into the episode.
If you look at the following two photos you will see that not only do trees match but the grasses do as well.
